| Home About Contact Us スローライフな介護日記・危機管理・介護認定 介護は危機管理 ？ 子供の頃は親には負けてばかりだったのが、いつしか勝てる日が来て嬉しくて・・はっと気づいたら歩く速度が遅い親の姿に気づく物です。個人差もありますが、７０歳を過ぎた辺りから弱ってしまう人も結構おられます。日頃から足腰が弱ると困ると危機感を持って運動されていると８０歳を過ぎても元気な方もおられますが、永久に弱ることなく過ごす方はおられませんので、親が健康で長生きなら子供として介護は必ず通る道と考えて危機管理をしておいた方が良いと思います。 とは言うもののいつも親を見張って体が弱らぬように、食べ物には気をつけてなどということは、親と二人で暮らして仕事も同じような環境でもなければ無理ですよね。多くの人が親とは離れて暮らし、仕事も違い、生活のリズムも違うというのが大半だと思います。 私も親とほとんど会う事すら少なく仕事仕事の日々でしたし、二人の子供の成長ばかり考えて過ごしていました。介護はまだ当分先の事と、電話で話すと元気な親を気遣う事も無く病気をしないでいてくれれば大丈夫ぐらいにしか思っていなかったというのが正直な話です。 介護がどういうキッカケで始まるかは人それぞれですが、ちょっと何処かが痛むとか、家の中で転んでしまったとか、遊びに行った先で風邪になったとか、些細な事が最初の理由だったというのが殆どのようです。自分の親の場合は二人ともに突然の入院からでした。母親はそれまで入院した事すら無かったのですが、ある日突然に家で転んでしまったという電話を受け、飛んで行きました。 最初は普通に玄関に出てきたのですが、買い物を頼まれ食事の用意をしてその日は帰りました。また次の日に電話があって、今度は動けなくなったというのです。どうも再度転んでしまったようですが、本人の記憶もかなり曖昧になっていました。 どうも見た目も少し前とすっかり変わってしまって普通ではありません。家族からも入院させた方が良いと言われ、転倒している可能性もありましたので救急車をお願いしました。搬送先の病院で診断したところ、軽い 脳梗塞 の後があり、脳も萎縮しており 栄養失調 も見られました。痴呆とまでは行きませんが、体もあまり自由にならなくなり、食事も満足にしていなかったようです。 親の 介護 |
